Baseline Review (EBR) -EdTech

You are invited to our 17.April 2025 EBR introduction event

While we wait for the live introduction event, you can already now try the short form self-assessment below if you are a user or provider of some kind of educational technology (app/platform/other kind of solution). The assessment is done through a short interview with an AI bot.

Quick Assessment

The assessment interview with the AI bot is free of charge and will only take about 5-10 minutes of your time.

You will immediately receive the recommendations for assessment areas, where you will benefit from investing more time in improving your EdTech solution.

This recommendation may be to take the full assessment, which is a 60-90 minute session with a similar AI bot. The full assessment can be paid for and started any time you want to, if you choose to complete it.

After a full assessment, you will receive the results in a downloadable document. From there on, it is up to you to take action on the current improvement areas!

Criteria Covered by the EBR

  • Pedagogical Effectiveness: Ensures alignment with curriculum standards, supports diverse learning styles, and demonstrates evidence of improved learning outcomes.

  • Data Security and Privacy: Assesses compliance with data protection regulations, secure data storage and transmission, and clear policies on data usage and sharing.

  • Usability and Accessibility: Evaluates accessibility and ease of use, engagement and interactivity, and customizability for different educational context.

  • This self-assessment is also your quick overview of possible non-compliance with the following assessment frameworks:
      • Educational Technology Assessment Criteria (ETAC): A set of standards developed in collaboration with educational institutions worldwide. EdTech solutions must meet these standards to be recommended or commissioned by educational systems.
      • Educational Tech Assessment Framework (ETAF): A framework of criteria developed in collaboration with educational institutions and organizations, designed to identify and adopt high-quality educational technologies.
      • International Digital Education Evaluation Criteria (IDEEC): The first cross-border digital education accreditation system, spanning multiple countries, designed to accelerate the aim of creating the most sustainable and integrated education region in the world.
      • CEN-ISO/TS 82304-2 digital education ISO: A new international technical specification for digital education products to meet, initiated by an international consortium of educational institutions and organizations.
