- Community Access: Join our global learning community and participate in online community activities hosted by fellow members or by a community facilitator.

What we ask of you:
We have always strived to provide as much value as possible to our members, completely free of charge.
However, we do request one thing in return:
To qualify for our free membership, we ask each member to contribute one hour of their time per month. This can be achieved by advising or mentoring another community member, facilitating a community activity, delivering a presentation on a topic of general interest, or engaging in another similar activity. Usually this can happen during our monthly all-hands event, but can also be a one-on-one call.

What information do we need from new members?
We only ask for the minimum required personal details when you join us. According to law, we operate under the laws of Denmark and the European Union. We are required to "know our customer (KYC - Know Your Customer)", so the details we ask from you in the Subscribe form are needed to meet these requirements, and to make sure we are allowed to communicate electronically under the various marketing laws. This is also why we need you to register, even for our free membership!
This includes details about your country and your tax number (we only ask when required for compliance reasons, for example if institutions or businesses join).

How do we accept payments?
This is obviously not relevant for free memberships. But for our paid programs, we partnered with Stripe to offer you the safest, easiest payment solution for accepting credit cards and other widely accepted ways of payment, such as Apple Pay and regional solutions. For individual memberships, we do not offer the option to transfer cash to us. Click the Subscribe button in your preferred membership option above, to see the available payment options.
We offer adaptable payments through Stripe, meaning that amounts are shown in your local currency when this is an option. Paying in your local currency may incur a conversion fee (from Stripe). The fee and price in local currency will be shown under each membership plan when adaptable pricing is available to you.
Taxes
Taxes are not included in the shown membership prices. For paid programs and memberships, taxes will automatically be calculated (by the Stripe payment platform) based on your country, and added to the program price when you sign up. Educatefor.Life is based in Denmark, hence the tax calculation follows the tax legislation of Denmark.
